Patiala House : review

Patiala House is an upcoming Bollywood family drama / sports film directed by Nikhil Advani and stars  Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mukesh Talreja, Krishan Kumar, Twinkle Khanna under the banner of 'People Tree Films Pvt. Ltd.' and 'Credence Motion Picture' and Hari Om Entertainment . The film is scheduled for release on 11 February 2011. Theatrical trailer of the movie has premiered with Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan on December 24, 2010. In this film Akshay Kumar plays the role of a Fast Bowler.

The story shows Akshay Kumar who will watch his father ruling a house, a family, a community like he has for the last 25 years. He will silently tolerate the snide remarks and insults passed by a younger generation. He will pour his heart out to his neighbours adopted brother. He will understand the bitterness of his siblings. He will identify with their shattered dreams. He will participate to begin a change. He will finally summon the courage to challenge his father and start a movement that will shake the very foundations of Patiala House.
